          What should I wear?

For your first class wear comfortable clothes that you would wear to a gym or yoga class.

NO LOTIONS or OILS at least 8 hours prior to your first class. Or shower and remove them before class. They cause you to slip on the pole and will handicap your grip. We ask that you also remove all mental like rings and bracelets as well.

I have not worked out in a long time, can I do this?

Yes you can! Classes are taught in a specific progression and will go at the pace of the student. Women of all shapes and sizes are welcome regardless of dance ability or strength. We all have to start somewhere, right?

What is the class structure like?

We ask that students arrive ten minutes early for their first class. You will need to fill out a personal information sheet and sign a liability waiver before your first class. This is one time only. If you have any physical limitations please let the instructor know before class so that we can make sure you can have the best pole experience possible.
Class will start with a soothing warm up, then continue to the lesson.  Next we will practice the choreography. It will end with a cool down. Total class time is 75 minutes.

          How steady is the pole?

We use X-Poles and they are the highest rated among industry professionals.  They use state of the art technology that applies pressure to the ceiling, creating a sturdy base at the bottom and a secure ceiling dome at the top. For more information or to purchase one for your home contact us directly.

          What should I bring?

Please bring a water bottle and a lite snack for after class if you desire. If you are climbing and inverting then you will need shorts. And of course if there is a favorite song that is making you move, bring that as well to share with the class.

Will I have to take off my clothes?

Absolutely not. We are not teaching a class in stripping but in pole dance fitness and how to use the pole as an apparatus to dance and express ourselves. Our classes are designed around developing strength, improving, flexibility and having fun. Nudity is not allowed under any circumstances.
