Yael and I broken in the poles for the first time this weekend. Amazing how far the studio has come in such a short time.
Our first doubles Pole show together was in 2012 (below) and just two weeks later Yael announced she was expecting!
This woman is so strong and such an inspiration to all moms and moms to be.
Similarly I used pole to gain strength and get back into pre-baby shape. All women can benefit from pole and its amazing gifts.
I am fortunate enough to rent from some amazing people at Anderson Construction Group in SODO. When I first looked at the space I was a little hesitant about how to get my poles in and secure them to the mental beams in the ceiling.
Not only did my neighbors help me get them in, the people at Anderson actually installed them and helped finish my floors.
Pole Fitness Seattle is blessed with the support of my students and the fellow small business owners next door.
August also spent the day testing each pole and giving demos.
Yay! Our poles arrived today at the studio.
I also managed to find some amazing mirrors at a fabulous price from one of my favorite local businesses, Second Use!
Looking forward to finishing our floor installation tomorrow and getting those poles up.
When I finally made the decision to make the Sodo studio I had a vision to create a place feminine yet powerful because I believe that the two things can go hand and hand.
I love all things vintage and wanted to hone in on the classic beauty and glamour of the golden age and have that feel reflected in the studio and in some of our classes and workshops.
When I teach my style is "classic", the polished Art of the Tease. This is very much the center and core of the "Bordeaux Process" Class series.
I'm so thrilled to finally be able to offer this class and a vintage collection of lingerie, hair flowers and more.
Q: Does Pole Fitness Seattle offer classes to MEN?
A: Yes! we do. We feel that both genders can benefit from pole fitness and its many gifts. Some men take our classes for strength training and others to feel good about their own bodies and to improve their own personal movement and dance style.
Although, we also believe that women very much benefit from a class that is "Ladies Only" that is why our schedule is designed for both.
