Dance has always been a huge part of my life. Being born and raised in Hawai'i, dancing hula and Tahitian was something I was raised doing. Before moving to Seattle, almost 4 years ago, I was dancing for a competitive Tahitian group Heretama Nui. After moving and finding my feet here I started to miss dance being apart of my everyday life.
Pole fitness was something that always had my attention, but never had a chance to pursue. Moving with the intent of new beginnings, I decided to check it out. After attending a few classes at a couple places, PFS quickly became my favorite studio. The camaraderie and genuine care of the people here reminded me so much of home. I fell in love. And continue to every time I set foot in the studio.
I hope to help in keeping that feeling of love and excitement for this craft alive, and hope to help instill it in any new student that walks through the door. I can't say enough how this studio has helped shape me into the person I am today. I'm excited to share that feeling confidence and beauty (even after not getting that move right away.) I wish to continue to grow and push boundaries not only in this amazing sport but as a person as well.
